π (a) Continent
- A very large continuous landmass on Earth, usually separated by oceans.
- Example β Asia, Africa, Europe.
π (b) Ocean
- The largest body of salt water covering most of Earthβs surface.
- Example β Pacific Ocean, Indian Ocean.
π (c) Island
- A piece of land surrounded by water on all sides.
- Example β Greenland (largest), Andaman & Nicobar Islands (India).

- Take a blank sheet of paper.
- Without looking at the textbook map, draw continents freehand.
- Use different colours π¨ for each continent.
- Compare your drawing with the actual map of oceans & continents in the book.

- Label all 7 continents: Asia, Africa, North America, South America, Europe, Australia, Antarctica.
