1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to EduSaint ("Company", "we", "us", "our"). These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of byte.edusaint.in (BYTE Learning App), school.edusaint.in (School Discovery), erp.edusaint.in (School ERP), and books.edusaint.in (Study Platform).

By accessing or using EduSaint services, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the platform. Continued use means acceptance of any updates to these Terms.

2. Eligibility & Age Requirements

You must be at least 13 years old to use EduSaint. For users under 18, parental or guardian consent is required. Schools and educational institutions can register through authorised representatives.

3. User Accounts & Security

• Accurate Information: Provide truthful, accurate information when creating an account
• Password Confidentiality: Keep your password confidential and don't share it
• Account Responsibility: You're responsible for all activity under your account
• Security Breach: Notify us immediately of any unauthorised access or security issues
• Account Deletion: You can delete your account anytime by emailing [email protected]

4. Google Sign-In & OAuth Authentication

We use Google OAuth to allow secure sign-in using your Google account. When you sign in with Google:

• We request only basic profile information (name, email address, profile picture)
• We do NOT access your Google Drive, Gmail, Calendar, contacts, or any other sensitive data
• You can revoke our access anytime from your Google Account Permissions page
• Your authentication is handled securely by Google's OAuth 2.0 protocol

5. Third-Party Services & Data Processing

EduSaint uses the following third-party services to operate and improve our platform:

• Google Firebase: For authentication, cloud messaging, analytics, and data storage. Firebase Privacy Policy
• Cloudflare: CDN service for fast content delivery and security. Cloudflare Privacy Policy
• Google Analytics: For understanding platform usage patterns and improving user experience
• Razorpay: Payment gateway for processing school ERP subscriptions (PCI-DSS compliant)

These services are bound by strict data processing agreements and maintain the same privacy standards as EduSaint.

6. Acceptable Use & Prohibited Activities

You agree NOT to:

• Post false, misleading, defamatory, or abusive content
• Submit fake reviews or fraudulent school enquiries
• Scrape, copy, or extract data without permission
• Attempt to hack, reverse-engineer, or disrupt our services
• Impersonate other users or create fake accounts
• Harass, threaten, or abuse other users or staff
• Use the platform for illegal purposes
• Send spam, malware, or phishing attempts
• Violate intellectual property rights

7. School Information & Disclaimers

School data on EduSaint is collected from public sources (like CBSE SARAS), submitted by schools, or aggregated from user reviews. We strive for accuracy but recommend verifying details directly with schools.

Educational Disclaimer: BYTE learning app is a supplementary educational tool and does not guarantee exam success or specific grades. Our content is for educational purposes only.

8. User-Generated Content & Reviews

Reviews, enquiries, feedback, and other content you submit:

• Must be honest, accurate, and your own original opinion
• Can be moderated or removed at our discretion for violating these Terms
• Grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide license to display on our platform and for marketing purposes

9. Intellectual Property Rights

Our Content: All course materials, flashcards, quizzes, videos, diagrams, and learning content are the exclusive property of EduSaint and protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. You may NOT reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit this content without written permission.

Your Content: You retain ownership of content you submit. By submitting it, you grant us the right to use it on our platform.

10. Fees & Payments

BYTE learning app and school discovery are free for students and parents. School ERP services require payment based on subscription plans.

• All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) including applicable taxes
• Payments are processed through Razorpay (PCI-DSS certified)
• Subscription cancellation does not entitle refunds for remaining period
• Refund policies vary by product and are displayed at time of purchase

11. Limitation of Liability & Disclaimers

EduSaint and its services are provided "AS-IS" without warranties. To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• We are not responsible for decisions made based on school information or learning content
• We are not liable for outcomes of admissions, enquiries, or exam results
• We are not responsible for third-party content, links, or services
• Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim

12. Termination of Accounts

Termination by You: Delete your account anytime by contacting [email protected]. Your data will be deleted within 30 days as per our Privacy Policy.

Termination by EduSaint: We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in illegal activities, abuse other users, or use fraudulent payment methods.

13. Data Security & Privacy

14. Modifications to Terms & Services

We reserve the right to modify these Terms, fees, or Services at any time. Significant changes will be communicated via email or prominent notice. Your continued use constitutes acceptance.

15. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

Governing Law: These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.

Jurisdiction: All disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India.
